Why is keeping my hands together important?


By holding your hands together in a neutral, aligned position, TactEQ2 shifts focus to your seat and core—encouraging a lighter, more effective contact through your horse’s back.

How close together will my hands be?


The center elastic is set to about 5 inches apart, which puts your hands in a natural, neutral position. It can stretch comfortably to 8–9 inches before the built-in safety release opens

The TactEQ Story

We launched the original TactEQ to help riders develop more independent hands. We knew that the equestrian world needed something safer and more comfortable than a string of twine, or a snaffle bit that are commonly used by instructors worldwide. We also knew that it had to be inclusive for all riders, weather or not they ride with gloves.

But we didn’t stop there.

Based on rider feedback, we retired Version 1 and built something even better: TactEQ2.
